Andy Davis Profile

“Kiss It Goodbye”

Known for his intense storytelling skills, Andy Davis the acoustic pop singer, songwriter and musician from Bayou, Louisiana has the raw talent of John Mayer and the distinct falsetto of Robin Thicke. After time spent in classroom studios at Belmont University, Andy Davis release his freshmen debut, “Thinks of Her.” Comprised of 12 tracks the album strongly introduced Andy as the suave songwriter and musician he is.

Andy toured toured throughout the Midwest in 2006, eventually leading him back into the studio to record the 5 track EP, “Fine China.” Shortly after, as well as his next full length album, “Let the Women” was exclusively released by Barnes and Nobles. Recorded “old-school” in ten straight days, the album became one of Barnes and Nobles top selling exclusive releases in the late months of 2007.

In 2007, Davis also earned industry accolade when he was presented with ASCAP’s Leon Brettler Award for most outstanding songwriter featured in the Nashville Workshop Series. Throughout 2008 Davis logged miles on the road, sharing the stage with the likes of Jakob Dylan, Tyler Hilton, Matt Wertz, Need to Breathe, Dave Barnes and more. His song “Beautiful Day For Bad News” received a significant nod from USA Today as “Pick of the Week” in August of 2008.

After becoming one of Nashville’s most successful musicians, he was invited on the Ten out of Tenn tour in March of 2009. By September, Andy was ready for the studio again to record his latest EP, “New History,” filled with five acoustically mellow tracks including the track “New History.” For more information on Andy Davis stop by www.andydavisonline.com.
